Behold, a new day and, with it, new music. Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, the esteemed Welsh glam rock outfit have announced their debut record Backhand Deals and with the announcement comes a fresh new single titled You.

Following on from their 10-Track The Non-Stop EP, this new album is set for release in February 2022 on Communion Records. This album is really driven by the band as quintessentially ‘them’: honest, authentic and laced with humour and wit. A key to their authentic sound was being able to record it in their own studio, which given the current situation with artists, they felt very lucky to be able to do.

Featuring on the debut will be the newly released single You, accompanied by a brand new music video. This follows on from their previous release of Crescent Man Vs Demolition Dan, a protest song about the closing down of music venues up and down the country.

The album also features New Age Millennial Magic, another previously released single that received a great response and helped propel them to new heights.

The video for the track shows Tom Rees, the vocalist and guitarist of the group, with what appears to be a very tanned on the face, as he pioneers the movement of bringing rock back from the dead. The video brings a feeling of old seventies adverts and a vibe of The Who’s record, Sell Out. Surely that’s not him bathing in a bath of orange juice?

Showing how far they’ve come, the band sold out a 1,000 capacity show in their hometown of Cardiff last month, with two sold-out shows also coming up at The Social, London in October.
