Rock icon Elvis Costello and composer Steve Nieve have announced a conjoined tour for the UK and Ireland slated for September 2024. Starting in Glasgow, the show will comprise the collaborative works of the two musical pioneers.

The pair have been collaborators for over 40 years as Nieve was a core member of Costello’s backing band The Attractions. With decades of musical collaborations to boot, the tour will reimagine their works and display them for an audience to digest with newfound wonder. According to Costello, the tour came from a desire to “uncover, rediscover, dismantle and re-assemble songs”, with Nieve making it a possibility.

Costello and Nieve In Concert will follow their run across the United States and Australia to kickstart 2024. Spanning fifteen dates across the UK and Ireland, the tour will conclude with a four-show run in Dublin. They will also play Wolverhampton for the first time in thirty years, along with marking their first performances together in twenty years following their last run in the UK.

A landmark tour, Costello and Nieve will hit the road together again to grace audiences with their collaborative musical landscapes and impressive songbooks. The UK and Ireland are in for a delight this upcoming fall.
