Less than a year on from the success of their sophomore album New Last Name, Liverpool’s Courting are back to announce their third record, Lust for Life, Or: ‘How To Thread The Needle And Come Out The Other Side To Tell The Story’ – set for release on March 14th 2025 via Lower Third Records.

Simultaneously returning with a leaner and sharper sound on lead single Pause At You, the categorisation-defying band continue to push further into experimental territory with their infectious pop sensibilities, feelgood indie guitars and signature use of stylistic auto-tune.

Speaking on their latest single, vocalist Sean Murphy-O’Neill said: “Pause at You is a culmination of everything we’ve been working on over the last few years — an observation on night time paranoia mixed about with night out ecstasy. Light outing, floor-filling, tie undressing, rock.”

Alongside the announcement, Courting also shared news of their next UK tour, starting in Leeds’ Belgrave Music Hall on March 15th 2025 and finishing in London’s Oslo Hackney on April 9th.

Full dates for the UK tour are below and tickets will be available here on November 22nd (Friday) at 10am GMT.

Pause At You is out now, paired with a visualiser directed by Charlie Barclay Harris.

Lust for Life, Or: ‘How To Thread The Needle And Come Out The Other Side To Tell The Story’ is out March 14th 2025 via Lower Third Records. Pre-order the album here.
