Having already announced some true indie greats like Beach House and Parquet Courts, they’ve set their standards for excellence high — it’ll take a lot to get better than this.

The addition of Indie Scene’s favourites Mandrake Handshake and Honeyglaze — with the latter gearing up to release their debut album on the 29th of April — sees the line-up for this year’s festival become a new music lover’s wet dream.

Already slated to appear are beloved post-punk units Black Country, New Road (and bringing with them a boatload of unheard tracks), English Teacher (debut EP Polyawkward out tomorrow) and The Murder Capital. On the indie front, we’ve got Strawberry Guy (who rose to prominence thanks to TikTok and his smooth-talking lyrics), the lovely Lime Garden, Blue Bendy and Willie J Healey.

Taking place in the picturesque location of the Brecon Beacons in Wales, you’ll find yourself one with nature: turn your out-of-office on, turn off your phone and enjoy.

Green Man Festival starts on August 18th and runs until the 21st. For more information, head to the website here.
