Having previously announced the likes of Ezra Collective and War, it seemed the bespoke Birmingham festival couldn’t get any better. Until, of course, Maribou State entered the line-up and made this one weekend not to be missed.

Joining them on the line-up is Liverpool-based American soul musician Jalen Ngonda, whose debut album Come Around and Love Me only landed in 2023 (to huge acclaim).

Completing the line-up for 2025 are DJ sets from icons Goldie and Craig Charles, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, Tom McGuire & The Brassholes, Mrcy and more, plus many yet to be announced.

If this line-up is anything to go by, 2025’s edition is simply not one to be missed. With Tier 1 tickets already sold out and Tier 2 set to follow suit, guarantee your spot in the crowd by grabbing a ticket here.

Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul Festival takes place at Moseley Park in Birmingham, 11th — 13th July.
