Birmingham rising band overpass have shared news of their debut EP From the Night alongside the release of their brand new single Alright.

The announcement follows their recent packed schedule on the live circuit, which included playing crowded tents at famed festivals such as Truck and Boardmasters, and supporting the likes of Inhaler, Kaiser Chiefs and Two Door Cinema Club on tour.

Now set to support The Royston Club and Vistas this autumn, their latest single Alright is sure to go down a storm on stage thanks to its catchy chorus and euphoric feel.

With the single also featuring on their first EP From the Night, their upcoming release promises to be an irresistible debut that you won’t want to miss.

Speaking about the EP, overpass said: “From The Night is about coming out of the dark times with a new perception of the world and people around you. We wanted to tie this concept into the artwork, with each of the colours representing a different song off the EP.

“From The Night marks a new stage of the band, and our first time presenting a body of work to the world that we feel truly captures who we are as artists. Working with Rich Turvey was a real pleasure, he has such a clear idea of when something is good for a song, when something doesn’t work, or when something is missing, which helped us to create something we’re really proud of.”

From the Night is out February 16th via Is Right Records.
