Sam Fender announces new album ‘People Watching’
The album will be accompanied by a huge tour.
Sam Fender is back. That’s it, that’s the news. Unless you have been on a social media detox, the whole world is ecstatic that our favourite North Shields boy has emerged back into the world with more to offer than most.
Fender dropped the titular track People Watching and it’s now racked up 3 million streams on Spotify. The track tackles grief in a whole new way as the singer lost his close friend and mentor Annie Orwin.
Sam said, “Annie always used to complain about me not ever mentioning her” and hopes that this single has “repaid her” with his touching tribute to his ‘second mum’ as she “taught [him] everything”.
The single is the first track released from the upcoming album that is set to be released February 21st 2025.
For those lucky enough, you might be one of the first to hear unreleased tracks as Sam Fender embarks on his sold out UK tour in December, alongside special guests Wunderhorse.
