Back with their first music since 2022 album Gulp!, Sports Team have returned with a new era, ready to speed drive their way into your ear drums with first single, I’m In Love (Subaru).
Announcing their third album Boys These Days with the new single, the band are well and truly back. And it’s no wonder they left — they had to take their time to craft more infectious indie. With a jangly, digestible sax-y sound, the band will no doubt open themselves up to a flurry of fans with their rejigged sound. Imagine Robbie Williams with a country twang, and you have the new Sports Team.
The band’s third album will see them hone a sound they’ve been scratching at for years, undoubtedly far more polished now that they’ve got skin in the game and have been grafting away in the tough London crowd.
