The Killers add extra dates to 2024 tour due to increased demand
The Rebel Diamonds Tour will take place in the UK and Europe in summer 2024.
The Killers are adding four extra dates to their 2024 UK and Europe tour due to overwhelming demand. The rock giants are set to perform in Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, and London in support of their second compilation album Rebel Diamonds.
Their most recent tour in the UK and Europe since Reading & Leeds and a short string of headline dates following the festival appearance, it’s been met with unsurprisingly high demand since its announcement. The Rebel Diamonds Tour will have The Killers performing in overseas arenas for the first time since the 2017 Wonderful Wonderful Tour and their previous stadium tour in support of their last album Pressure Machine. Scottish rock band Travis will join for all of the dates in the UK and Europe; being announced as openers following the reveal of more dates.
The leg of the tour will now begin on 12 June at 3Arena in Dublin, with the new third date being announced as its new opening night. It will follow the three-day spell with four dates in Manchester, three dates in Glasgow, and will conclude with four dates in London.
Since the band has decided to scrap what would have been their newest album, there will be a focus on their hits featured on Rebel Diamonds and Pressure Machine. While there has been no confirmation of a replacement for the lost album, Brandon Flowers has stated wanting to continue the sonic direction where Pressure Machine left off. Their newest song, Spirit, will be featured on the compilation album. A selected curation of standouts from The Killers catalog, there’s a possibility the tour could reflect its spirit. Whatever the tour brings, it will bring plenty of fans and loads of excitement.
