Witch Fever announce debut album ‘Congregation’ with title track
The Manchester punk band announce the release date of their highly-anticipated debut album

Four-piece alternative music band Witch Fever have been serving up heavy, riff rich, lyrical masterpieces since they formed in 2018. Now, they’ve announced the release of their debut album Congregation which promises to be every bit as enthralling and exciting as their previous output, if not more.
Witch Fever have a unique ability to take intense topic matter and inject it with vivacious freedom and burning energy through their music. In their debut album Congregation, that energy will no doubt be amplified and taken to even further heights.
This album will consist of thirteen tracks which, as we expect from the band, will be boundless and not confined to a single sound or genre. Their merging of rock, heavy metal, alternative and their own creative ideas make for exciting and fresh listening.
Their music has previously dealt with some pretty heavy subject matter and that continues here, with many of the tunes themed around the abuse of power, control and the patriarchy.
Lead singer Amy Walpole said of the creative process, “As our first album we’re really excited to just get it out there. We feel that it’s a step above what we’ve done before as we had a chance to experiment with sound and structure”.
The Manchester-based band recorded Congregation at Blank Studios in Newcastle and it’s due to be released on 21st October 2022. Until then, you can witness the eclectic energy of the band live across the UK, including their opening for My Chemical Romance this week on the 19th of May.
