Djo shares exciting new track ‘Gloom’
The Stranger Things star wastes no time in releasing his second single of the year ahead of his sophomore album Decide.

The multi-talented Joe Keery began 2022 with an upbeat track called Change, and it looks as if he is continuing this dancey sound with the new single. Djo explores the need for freedom from city life through lyrics such as “I hate this city, yes, I’m ready to go”. These lyrics create a carefree vibe; perfect to sing along to.
The vocal sound sees a change of pace throughout the latter parts of the track. Flash Mountain – a track from Djo’s debut album — features vocals which feel close to those of Gloom. This passionate, more spoken tone injects the song with an anthemic vitality.
Both singles released by Djo this year have had a different sound to his 2019 record Twenty Twenty, as he follows a much more electronic and danceable sound. We cannot wait to see where Djo will take us with his upcoming record.
