Lip Filler have blessed the likes of BBC Radio 1, Radio 6, Radio X, NME and CLASH Magazine since the release of their eponymous debut EP earlier this year. They have some coveted appearances on the way and shows on the horizon. Limelite is the group’s latest single — and it’s a banger.

Limelite proves a charged pop-rocker with the energy of the latter-day Vaccines and the sound of fresh-faced Arctic Monkeys. The track taps into that early noughties indie scene, bound to ignite the dancefloor addict in all of us. There’s a distinct rawness in the guitar sound throughout, appeasing both pop and rock fans alike, with a wall of punchy sound.

The tune is a good omen, promising more of Lip Filler’s signature pop-rock sound, which has paved the way for the group’s underground success and can only throw them further. Limelite is a song for the good times. Let them never end.
