Tough Cookie make their debut with ‘Emory’

The first single from the London outfit is a sonically pleasing and stunning start to their first steps into streaming.

The group absolutely hits it out of the park with their first impression, making four beautiful minutes melt away.

Tough Cookie, recently coming out with Emory, have given the music world something utterly amazing for their first steps into streaming. The four-minute track feels like something you would hear over a video of unforgettable memories with close friends as the song’s tone, the guitars, drums, vocals — everything weaves in together to create something genuinely special.

Everything in this track is allowed its’ own time to breathe, and I think that a track that not only is fantastic as a collective sonically (all the moving parts do their job, and do it well) but is equally as good when things are allowed to stand on their own as a very powerful, beautifully ambitious track that has legs to stand on and to run with said ambition propelling them to a figurative victory.

Speaking of victory, this track has it written all over it. This is a massive win any way you slice it, and is sure to provide a wonderful boost to Tough Cookie as they make their way off of the starting blocks, and into the race that is music streaming, and the music world as a whole.

Starting out strongly with this track will only leave people interested for more, but will also have people who are already aware of the collective stick along for the ride.

Emory by Tough Cookie is out now via Gravity Records.
