Straight off the back of their busy festival season, our favourite Goth Girls released their latest single Darla ahead of their highly anticipated headline tour across the UK, which is set to happen at the end of September. Written about the bond that the girls have with one another, the latest single is yet another defiant track that makes us wish that we would be blessed with an EP or album from the band.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist/guitarist Grace Kelly shares, Darla is a ritual of witchy premonitions that two people were destined to meet. Embodying the sanctity of female companionship, friendship, and love… It is a direct reflection on the bonds present within the members of VENUS GRRRLS, and how female companionship has been a life force during hardship and change.”

VENUS GRRRLS waste no time by getting Darla stuck in your head from the get-go – a bit like their previous release Bloodsick. The driven instrumental really helps to showcase the bond between the girls as it seamlessly slides into each verse effortfully. All whilst ensuring that their enchanting and haunting powers keep you captivated.

The track hits hard and is yet another reason why you shouldn’t overlook this coven of witches, you might have even seen them on a famous tv show, under the alias of the infamous Hex Girls.

Darla is out now via Beltayne Records.
