As frontwoman Ellie Rowsell’s sultry vocals play against longing guitar strums, you can’t help but feel like you’re taking a walk along the shore at dusk. Pink and purple hues amidst cool waters; No Hard Feelings will transport you to the times after the end of a relationship where there is hurt and pain, yet a sense of serenity takes over as Rowsell sings “And for everything that ends, something else must begin”.

Mixing powerful words with a poetic touch, the band never fails to create magic in their sounds. No Hard Feelings is an ode to a relationship that has run its course. Though it may feel like an interlude, the track sustains on its own as it grips your attention from start to finish.

The band pay tribute to late songstress Amy Winehouse by mentioning her melancholic track ‘Love Is A Losing Game’. Crying in the bathtub to Winehouse feels like a classic breakup mood so many of us will, or have, turned to. “But there’s only so much sulking that the heart can entertain,” flows the lyrics, continuing to make for a break-up song that is equally empowering as it is sorrowful.

No Hard Feelings is accompanied by a stunning music video directed by Jordan Hemingway. The video features Rowsell at a bus stop at night with her lover, before she leaves him behind and gets on a bus. Check out the video below.

In a new social media post celebrating the arrival of several editions of the upcoming album on vinyl, the band also announced that they’re bringing forward the release of their third album Blue Weekend, which will now land on June 4th.

They’ve announced that they’ll be touring again, and this definitely isn’t something you’ll want to miss. Check their live dates out:
