Arctic Monkeys announce 2023 UK and Ireland tour

The tour is set to commence in May and June.

Naturally, after announcing their seventh studio album, The Car, we all expected tour dates to come. On Friday, the band finally announced accompanying tour dates, including two hometown shows at Hillsborough Park in Sheffield. If you went to Arctic Monkeys’ last shows in Sheffield, you’ll know how special it is to see them at their homecoming.

The indie giants are making the jump from arenas (I was there in 2018 and those arenas are not small) to stadiums, truly cementing their status as musical legends.

The tour will see the band visit the usual hotspots of Manchester, London and Sheffield, with stops at Middlesborough, Coventry and Norwich included.

If you preorder The Car, you’ll have access to the pre-sale at 9am BST on September 29th.
