At the end of July, the Irish band shared their first single in three years — now they’ve announced their long-awaited second album.

If you’re a fan of Fontaines D.C. chances are you’ve heard of their fellow Irish friends in The Murder Capital and are just as excited about the announcement of their second album as we are.

Returning after three years, the band surprised fans with new single Only Good Things in July, building enough excitement to then spoil us with the news of a follow-up album to 2019’s very well-received When I Have Fears.

The new track is undoubtedly a beautifully candid love song; telling someone you want to spend a thousand lives with them while acknowledging we only have so many hours in a day. It’s bittersweet, and it’s the perfect teaser for the forthcoming album.

Alongside the album comes a UK and EU tour commencing next February (2023).
