Bristol-based rock band IDLES has announced their fourth album, Crawler. The album announcement comes with the release of the single The Beachland Ballroom and an accompanying music video. Their fourth studio album comes a little over a year after their previous LP Ultra Mono.

The accompanying music video takes a minimalist approach of sorts; the camera is focused only on lead singer Joe Talbot as he sings. He’s sweaty, full of emotion, and highlighted by the accent lights that come and go throughout. Full of raw, gritty vocals that exude powerful energy with guitar progressions and clashing, pounding drums that take the energy up a notch, The Beachland Ballroom serves as a stellar introduction to Crawler

The video is indicated as ‘part 1’, so there might be another music video for The Beachland Ballroom heading our way in the future. Whatever IDLES bring to the table with their upcoming release, it’s sure to be a rager. Since their beginnings in 2009, IDLES have garnered a sizable following that is well deserved. If this single is a glimpse into what to expect from their next project, it might just amplify their successes to the next level.

Crawler is out on 12th November via Partisan Records.
