With their new single Busy Waiting, FEET have fashioned a Britpop-grunge sound perfect for the moodiest of men. Busy Waiting hosts a bang tidy guitar line and cutting lyrics — this band are not messing around with frills or over-the-top pretentiousness.

The track is frustration and apathy in a danceable package, telling of the universal human experience of simply being sick and tired of waiting. The group’s unique ability to transform a mundane situation into an enthralling tune is incredibly intriguing.

Gritty but not quite punk, indie but by no means soft, FEET have engineered an incredibly unique sound which I can only describe as ‘no messing — straight to the point’, which fittingly is the message behind the track.

Indie-rock on the surface with a tint of darkness, this track certainly raises the bar for the release of their upcoming EP Walking Machine, out via Nice Swan Records on August 6th.
